 Wedding venues

We travel around the country to photograph weddings, but here are some of the local venues that we know and love. The list is by no means exhaustive and only covers a selection of the places we have shot over the last couple of years.

Coltsfoot - A great wedding location, secluded and private with an intimate atmosphere. Its suited more to the smaller wedding (up to around 70 for a wedding breakfast) but the quality of the food and service is excellent. I'd also add that the surroundings are great for your photography and that the guest rooms are beautiful and extremely well equipped.

TewinBury Farm - A firm favourite with bags of character and plenty of options for any size wedding. The team are helpful and well versed in getting a wedding to run smoothly.

Fanhams Hall - What can you say about Fanhams? Gardens to die for and a beautiful old house. The options for photography are great and you can even land a helicopter nearby!

Hitchin Priory - Great location with plenty of space and lovely surroundings. Bags of history (dating back to 1317) with some fantastic original features.

Manor of Groves - A venue of two halves, both of which give great options. On a sunny day the option of an outside ceremony gives a great setting for the ceremony and plenty of space for having a great time.

Pendley Manor - A little further away in Tring, but a great venue and loads of options for the photography (including a great staircase!). This is also the location for a renowned Shakespere festival each year.
